Self-Direct is approved and authorized by the NYS Department of Health to provide a 40-hour training program for Personal Care Aide (PCA) Certification in Syracuse, NY. This is a 40-hour NYS DOH curriculum class that includes classroom training, demonstration, hands-on learning and written exam. This class is instructed by a Self-Direct RN Instructor. Upon successful completion of this course the person receives a NYSDOH Certificate as a Personal Care Aide (PCA). Once the person has this certificate they can apply for a position at Self-Direct, Inc. Self-Direct provides support, and further training annually or on an as-needed basis.
